As result, updating VPP in your project will cause several missing references in your project. New projects set up on or after that date don&#8217;t need\u00a0the patch.<\/p>\n<h4>Instructions:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Ensure you have a backup or VCS snapshot of the project.<\/li>\n<li>Update all VPP repositories to the <strong>master<\/strong> branch (<strong>master-sdk<\/strong>\u00a0in &#8220;Vehicle Physics Sample Assets&#8221; if using the Professional version). Missing components and references will appear along the project.<\/li>\n<li>From Unity&#8217;s Project window locate the folder <strong>Upgrades<\/strong>\u00a0in the VPP folder. Default locations:<br \/>\nEnterprise:<br \/>\nAssets\/Vehicle Physics Pro\/Core\/Vehicle Physics Core\/Upgrades<br \/>\nProfessional:<br \/>\nAssets\/Vehicle Physics Pro\/SDK\/Upgrades<\/li>\n<li>Select the file <strong>2019-01-25 Compatibility Update.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Read the Patch Notes in the Inspector.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Apply Patch<\/strong> and wait for completion.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Unity will reload the project files once the patch finishes and the missing references will be restored.<\/p>\n<p>The patch is already available in both Professional and Enterprise editions of Vehicle Physics Pro.<\/p>\n<p>As always, let me know if you have any questions!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recent commits\u00a0to VPP repositories have changed the GUIDs for some components.
